B.Des Communication Design at Arch College of Design and Business, Jaipur Offline Course

Bachelor of Design (B.Des) in Communication Design is a four-year undergraduate course offered by the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.

Focusing primarily on fashion, fashion history and context, the overall course content emphasises the appreciation of context and meaning in the specific field of Fashion design, whilst providing key concepts of fashion evolution and design adaptation. Including theoretical and practical design aspects, the emphasis is placed on research and critical thinking, introducing students to the body of knowledge that supports achievement within a higher education learning environment. Learners are encouraged to record and analyse the key drivers which influence fashion globally, including ecological, environmental, ethical, technological and aesthetic factors.The Graphic Design 4-year course falls under the Communication Design Faculty of the Rajasthan ILD Skills University. The curriculum enables students to develop a personal and visual vocabulary through form, proportion, image and typography. The course aims to produce trained professionals with practical ability, specialised knowledge about graphic design processes, software applications and a complete understanding of communication skills. Learning in the course emphasises the understanding of visual design basics and the process of developing designs and executing the same on to products. The student is provided opportunities to gain live experience through Jaipur heritage bodies as well as national and international academia and industry interaction. Learners work individually on live projects to absorb and adopt the best professional practices. All of which go through group critiques to encourage enquiry, debate and evaluation.
