Arkay College of Engineering and Technology for women, Nizamabad was established year 1999 is an affiliated college, situated in Sivar Achanpally, Bodhan, Nizamabad District, Telangana State. The institute located on30 acres of land and is fully accredited by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE). They have engineering with programmes offered at different levels namely Bachelor of Engineering, Engineering Diploma. Being a co-educational institution of learning, the college takes overall, of 161 students a year and it is staffed by 101 faculty members thus, achieving an expected standard student-teacher ratio. The institute offers 7 programmes in two degree levels, with focuses on different engineering fields of Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, Electrical and Electronics, Civil, and Mechanical Engineering.

Arkay College of Engineering and Technology for women appears as the centre providing core learning resources intended to offer the necessary information. Modern and efficiently equipped laboratories are provided for each department and practical experience, essential for engineering, is afforded here. It is used for many occasions and seminars and enhances the college or university-life atmosphere. Some amenities which are of added advantage to students include a cafeteria and a health center inclusive of first aid. It also provides for health needs with there being sports halls and a gymnasium. A corporate IT infrastructure is integral to today’s learning environment, and guests of the college include visiting faculty as well as students’ families, which are housed in a guesthouse on the campus.

The college currently has a total of 7 courses; The B.Tech programmes takes 4 years, and the diploma courses takes 3 years. Only the full- time, regularly mode of teaching is offered for all the courses. For all courses such as civil engineering, Electrical and electronics engineering, Computer science and engineering, the total approved intake is 390.
