The Arkay College of Engineering and Technology admission process shall generally run parallel to the working academic calendar. The candidate should have completed his/her 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as core subjects for the B.Tech programmes. The minimum aggregate score in the qualifying examination is generally an eligibility criterion, though the exact percentage may change from time to time. Diploma admissions are usually based on marks scored in the 10th or in TS POLYCET.

Arkay College conducts B.Tech programmes in Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electronics and Communication Engineering. The admission process for these aforementioned courses is primarily based on the TS EAMCET test score obtained by the candidate. The B.Tech programmes at the college have an overall intake of 270, having 60 seats each in CSE, EEE, Civil, and Mechanical, and 30 seats in ECE.
For the diploma courses being conducted, admission shall be based on the marks obtained at the TS POLYCET entrance or on 10th-standard marks. The diploma courses in the college cover Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Civil Engineering. Each diploma programme shall have an intake of 60 students.
