Aruna Manharlal Shah Institute of Management and Research, popularly known as AMSIMR, is an affiliated college, founded in 2009 and located at Ghatkopar West, Mumbai. The institute has AICTE approval and runs a Master of Management Studies program. The AMSIMR is spread over a 1-acre campus with a total student enrolment of 51 and a faculty strength of 3. 

Aruna Manharlal Shah Institute of Management and Research institute has various facilities that help in the enrichment of its students regarding their studies as well as other activities. The library is well-equipped with over 3,620 volumes comprising 1,920 titles, and subscribing to national and international journals, periodicals, and online databases like EBSCo. IT infrastructure at AMSIMR includes a collection of over 120 IBM and HP Pentium IV PCs interconnected on a LAN with two servers, providing access to e-learning material and specialised software for IT specialisation to the students. There is Wi-Fi connectivity across the entire campus, providing seamless connectivity to students and staff.

AMSIMR offers only one full-time course: the MMS program. At AMSIMR, the program is designed to arm its students with the knowledge and skills needed for successful careers in management. 

Admissions to the programs in AMSIMR are strictly based on the merit of the students and in accordance with the guidelines of MH-CET, a Maharashtra Common Entrance Test conducted by the Directorate of Technical Education, and CMAT a Common Management Admission Test conducted by AICTE. Prospective students need to appear in one of these exams and qualify based on the cutoffs set by the institute.
