Arunachala College of Education, Tiruvannamalai Admission Process

Arunachala College of Education, Tiruvannamalai, was established as an instituted teacher education-specialized education institution. Having its affiliation with the university and receiving approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college offers two full-time courses, B.Ed and M.Ed.  The admission procedure at Arunachala College of Education aims to select eligible candidates for its teacher education programs. Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: An approved intake of 100 seats exists for the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Program at Arunachala College of Education. The selection to the B.Ed program is done by merit based on marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or performance in relevant entrance examinations. The admission procedure is then implemented in accordance with the fulfillment of the guidelines of the State Government of Tamil Nadu, UT administration, and the affiliated university. Candidates who have completed their undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline are eligible to apply for the course program.

M.Ed: The Master of Education (M.Ed) program admits 50 seats at Arunachala College of Education. The procedure for admission to the M.Ed program is done in the same way as that for the B.Ed program, with particular emphasis on the candidates' performance in the qualifying examination and/or those candidates' entrance tests pertaining to the merit. The admission procedure is implemented accordingly with the fulfillment of these guidelines of the State Government and UT Administration as well as affiliated universities. An applicant must have completed B.Ed or an equivalent degree from a recognized institution.
