Baba Jageswar Nath Mahavidhyalaya, established in 2008, is loacted in Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh. It is situated in the centre of Hetimpur and has become one of the most central higher education hubs in the region. It offers a wide range of programmes under various disciplines. At the undergraduate level, the college provides a BA course with 420 seats and a specialised BA in Home Science, Pedagogy, and History with 180 seats. The college offers a B.Ed with 100 seats and a D.El.Ed with 50 seats for those wishing to join the profession of teaching. In addition, the students can go through the postgraduate level with the courses MA in Sociology, Geography, and Hindi. The total intake of the student in all courses can be noted as 1015, which speaks to the commitment by the college for the spreading of qualitative education among a good number of students over this region. 

The admission in Baba Jageswar Nath Mahavidhyalaya is different for its courses. In cases of B.Ed and D.El.Ed, since the admission is on the basis of merit, with reference to the marks secured in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination, as the case may be, the aforementioned specific selection procedure should be jobs that conform to policies of the state government and university. In other courses, that is BA and MA courses, it may have to be presumed to be on a similar basis of a merit system.
