Balram Krishan Academy is affiliated college, situated in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh which was set up in the year 2014. It is an NCTE-recognised institution that further provides various undergraduate and Diploma in Education programmes. The academy offers specialised education because it only admits 342 students in its total student enrolment. The college has four different courses namely, BA, BCOM, B ed, and Dip. In D.El. Ed to serve the needs of the students who have varying academic abilities and career goals.

Balram Krishan Academy has facilities, including fields for both soccer and basketball to help the students improve their health and team cohesion. An auditorium is a facility that provides events and seminars to create a lively campus environment. Maintaining the students’ health, the college has a health centre with the provision for first aid services. Besides it has facilities such as a gym to support the athletic students, a cafeteria for snacks and drinks and free Wi-Fi in the entire compound hence enabling the students to access the online learning materials conveniently. This is an Affiliated College of University of Lucknow.

Balram Krishan Academy currently runs four full course programmes in addition to running the aforesaid part-time courses, each course being a full package in its respective field of specialisation. Among all the programmes, the Bachelor of Arts (BA) admitted the largest number of students with 420 seats, and the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) admitted 100 students. The subjects being passed in the B.Com course are 60 and for D.El.Ed course there are 50 seats available. All these programmes are offered in a full-time mode which will keep the students fully engaged all throughout their learning experience. The total approved intake for all the courses offered is 630 which testifies to the fact that the academy is able to make constant efforts in the provision of education to a large number of students in each year. 

Admission at Balram Krishan Academy: The admission procedure of the academy differs from course to course. For B.Ed and D.El.Ed programmes, admission shall be made on merit, percentage of marks secured in the qualifying examination as well as entrance examination. In the process of selection, the criteria followed correspond to the policies provided by the state government, UT Administration, and the university.
