Bachelor of Visual Arts ( BVA ) is a full-time four-year undergraduate degree course offered by the Bengaluru Central University, Bengaluru.

Subjects offered - Painting, Applied Arts, Sculpture, Graphic Art, and Art History.


Eligibility Criteria

Candidates who have passed PUC /10+2/ Vocational Diploma in commercial art or any other visual art course/an overall total of 12 years of schooling through the formal or open school system are eligible. A candidate who has passed the 2-year foundation course in visual arts, leading to a degree from any recognized institutions in India and abroad (considered equivalent to 10+2 on the condition that the parent University approves) is also eligible.

Admission Details

College of Fine Arts (Evening) conducts entrance test for BVA, MVA & Post Diploma. The Candidate must clear the entrance test in order to get admission. The entrance test is conducted at three levels which include written, practical and oral tests as prescribed by the College of Fine Arts (Evening) administration. The Presentation of the portfolio is mandatory for BVA, MVA & Post Diploma.
