About Basavakalyan Engineering College, Bidar
Basavakalyan Engineering College BETBKEC was established in the year 1999. It is a Private Professional College for Engineering at Bidar, Karnataka. As per its affiliation to the Visvesvaraya Technological University, Belagavi, the college comprises AICTE recognised undergraduate courses in the field of engineering. BETBKEC is vast campus spread over 29.32 acres of land and it take enrolment of 538 students and 66 faculty members. The college currently teaches seven B.Tech programmes in a wide range of fields that students may be interested in. With a gender ratio of 2:1 male to female in BETBKEC, The school insist on a balanced learning system.
Basavakalyan Engineering College offers number of facilities that could improve the environment for students. The college has state of art laboratories for practicals, a big library having more than twenty five thousand books, and CBT facilities with internet access. In order to ensure appropriate living conditions both for male and female students the college provides special hostels for boys and girls for approximately 600 applicants. Other facilities are a canteen providing healthy foods, a hall for movies or other performances among several others, and transport reaching other close vicinity. The college has also made it easier with banking facilities within the compound and internet service throughout the compound.

The college has different types of sports,from dance and music to robotics and coding clubs. there are different types of books in the library, which we can access anytime.
