• On 18th September 2023, Mahatma Hansraj Library of BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar organised a two-day book exhibition titled “Explore Worlds in Words… A Book Exhibition to Inspire..” in celebration of International Literacy Day. 

BBK DAV College for Women, Amritsar was established in 1967, under the aegis of “DAV College Managing Committee, Chitra Gupta Road, New Delhi '' with an aim to provide higher education to women in the faculties of Commerce, Management, Vocational Studies, Arts, Humanities, Languages, Fine Arts, Designing and Sciences. The institute was re-accredited by NAAC, with Grade ‘A’. BBK DAV Amritsar provides admission in degree and diploma programmes, available at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The programmes offered provide intensive learning experience and evaluation, through full-time mode. BBK DAV College for Women provides a placement cell catering to final-year students by providing them with placement services with top recruiters such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture and other such reputed organisations. 

BBK DAV College for Women also provides scholarships, concessions, financial aid and assistance to students of various programmes, for excellence in the field of academics, sports, NCC, Fine Arts and other extracurricular activities as well as to candidates from socially and economically weaker sections.
