About Behali Degree College, Biswanath
Behali Degree College was established in 1989 and is an affiliated College located at Borgang, Biswanath, Assam. This is an undergraduate university that hosts various faculties in arts and science together with intercalated degrees. With a sprawling campus of 9 acres the college offers education to 940 Total students while it employs 41 committed teachers and faculty members. Behali Degree College offers 14 courses under three degree programmes and offers specialisation in subjects like Assamese, Political science, Economics, Education stream and sciences etc.
The essence of these facilities is Behali Degree College's library which was created along with the college in 1989. Built to accommodate more than thirteen thousand books, it is one of the most impressive college libraries in the Biswanath district that offers learners many opportunities for their academic activities. The college also has general and departmental based laboratory to enable the student gain practical experience in their areas of specialisation.
In as far as co-curricular activities are concerned, an auditorium has been provided for seminaring, cultural activities, college functions among others. There are establishments that show the intention of promoting sports among students in relation to fitness and spirit as a team. The college also has an active alumni body through which the former and current college students can easily associate themselves. In addition, the Internal Quality Assurance Cell organises its activities with an aim of making available facilities for students and educational opportunities, among which is the placement service.

Behali Degree College in Biswanath is one of the colleges with a simple process of admissions to undergraduate programs - with an initial, in other words, At Behali Degree College, admission is initiated mostly soon after the announcement of 10+2 results. The college offers various full-time undergraduate programs like B.A. and B.Sc. graduate degrees in different areas of specialization. Admission depends heavily on any of the students' 10+2 examination results. The minimum academic requirement for most of Behali Degree College programs is passing the 10+2 exam with a recognized board. For BSc subjects, a candidate should have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology.
Application Process
1. Announcing Admission: The College issues the notification for the admission process after the 10+2 results' declaration.
2. Application Form: Candidates must obtain the application form and complete it. It can be obtained either from the official website of the college or from the college campus.
3. Document Submission: After completion of the application form, the following documents are to be enclosed:
- Mark sheets and certificates for class 10 and 12th grade
- Certification of character from the last institute attended
