Bhagwant Institute of Technology, Barshi, is established in the year 2010 in the district of Solapur in Maharashtra. Affiliated to this college, it has risen as one of the major educational institutions in the district, being spread over 10 acres. BIT is accredited by NAAC and approved by AICTE; thus, it is growing continuously towards its goals of imparting quality technical education and adhering to national standards in technical education. Offering 1,006 enrolments with faculty strength of 69, BIT provides a vast choice of 7 courses under 2 programs with its special focus on several engineering streams.

Several facilities have been provided in this institution to help in the learning environment and development of students as a whole. Other than that, the campus is fully equipped with well-equipped laboratories for practical hands-on training, large libraries endowed with fresh resources, and fully modern IT infrastructures that keep pace with changing technology.
