Bharati Vidyapeeth Dental College and Hospital, Sangli was established in 2006. The college is one of the reputed constituent colleges in Maharashtra, India. The co-educational institution is located over 5.1415 acres affiliated with Bharati Vidyapeeth Deemed University, Pune, and approved by DCI. At present, the institution offers undergraduate and postgraduate levels of courses in dentistry with a total enrolement of 506 students. At the postgraduate level, the college offers 6 Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) programmes, each with 3 seats. These specializations include Prosthodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics, Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics, Paedodontics and Preventive Dentistry, and Periodontics.
