66 MonthsBachelor of Homeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS) is 5.5 years academic program containing the 4 and 1/2-year academic session and one-year internship program degree offered by Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune and approved by the National Commission for Homoeopathy (NCH).
In order to pursue graduation in BHMS, candidates must have passed their 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as main subjects and scored a minimum of 50 percent marks in aggregate and must also have qualified in the NEET UG examination. The candidates must not be less than 17 years of age on or before December 31 of the given academic year for which the admission is being conducted. The candidates should also be medically fit. “If a person is blind (including color blindness), deaf and dumb, they cannot apply for BHMS,” shares Aastha.
The students will be admitted to the BHMS course on the basis of the merit obtained by them in the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) which is common to all medical disciplines, conducted yearly by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Counseling is done by AYUSH Admission Central Counseling Committee (AACCC).
