Bhim Rao Ambedkar College (BRAC), Delhi is a constituent co-educational college of the University of Delhi and it is funded by Delhi Government. It was established in 1991 to commemorate the birth centenary year of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar. The college has a unique combination of academic and professional courses under the three year Bachelor Degree Programmes. The academic programmes include B.Com & B.Com (Hons.), B.A. (Hons.) Geography, B.A. (Hons.) History and B.A. (Programme). The college offers four professional courses which include B.A. (Hons.) Hindi Journalism and Mass Communication, B.A. (Hons.) Social Work, B.A. (Hons.) Business Economics, B.A. (Hons) Applied Psychology. Location: The Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Delhi is located at Wazirabad Road, Kardam Puri Extension, Yamuna Vihar, Shahdara, Delhi. Club, Committees and Societies:
Alumni Club: The Club organizes and coordinates all alumni activities. The College has been acknowledging the efforts, talents and achievements of the Alumni by honouring them in Alumni Function held every year. The college regularly updates the Directory of the former students.
Counselling Centre: The centre provides psychological support to the students to pursue their academic and personal goals, and enhance the quality of their experience.
Eco Club: The club works with the objective to prevent global warming and create awareness about not to pollute the environment. It regularly organises activities related to the social contributions to the environment.
Equal Opportunity Cell: The cell provides an environment that supports diversity and respects everyone regardless of colour, religious belief or cultures. It also commits to ensuring the protection of everyone including minorities and acting as per the provisions of the constitution of India.
Green Cadets: Through this programme the college aims to build up a team of students who would be trained as socially committed action-oriented resource persons for spreading awareness, promoting a love for nature, and directly working for efficient management of the environment and natural resources and their further sustainability within the college and outside.
National Service Scheme: NSS volunteers of BRAC conduct a variety of activities, such as orphanage visits, awareness programs and health camps. In addition, the NSS holds annual camps in a rural location, where students assist the residents in the development of their village.
NCC: NCC fortifies character, command and discipline among the students. It provides framing for a career in the forces. NCC Cadet Crop of BRAC organises and trains youth and provides leadership in all walks of life including the Armed and Navy forces. It also creates a suitable environment to motivate the youth to take up a career in the armed forces.
Photocopier Outlier: The College has also outsourced a photocopier outlet to provide photocopy, printing, compiling and binding facilities to its students and staff. The outlet opens on all working days during College hours.

Internal Assessment Comm: ICC is constituted every year in order to cater to problems of students. Students can bring various issues. The committee also provides a feedback system in place which provides a channel to students for reporting their grievance or giving any suggestion.
North-East/Foreign Students Advisory Committee: The Cell every year organises an event where the students get the opportunity to showcase their talent and lustrous culture of North East. The cell is also responsible for bringing out any grievances of the North East and Foreign students and address it immediately.
Yoga and Meditation: The Yoga sessions are practised every day at the college premises - (Monday-Saturday) from 7.45 A.M. to 8.45 A.M. The session is supervised by a trained yoga instructor from the Bhartiya Yog Sansthan.
Gend. Sent. & Woman Devp.Committee: The committee is committed to the elimination of all forms of discrimination against women and takes active steps towards gender sensitization and elimination of sexual harassment.
Anti-Ragging Committee: Anti-Ragging Committee of BRAC, Delhi ensures compliance with the provisions of the regulations as well as the provisions of the law concerning ragging is in force. It also monitors and oversees the performance of the Anti-Ragging Squad in prevention of ragging in the institution.
Anti-Tobacco Committee: Delhi University has partnered with Delhi Police and World Lung Foundation-South Asia to promote the tobacco-free environment. To implement this IP College of Women has banned smoking in the college.
Red Ribbon Club Committee: The club organizes awareness camps on AIDS and Blood Donation at regular intervals in village areas. It equipped youth with correct information on HIV/AIDS prevention, care and support.
Alumni Club Committee: This committee of BRAC is a group of teachers and old students of Daulat Ram College. The group provides a forum to all alumni of Daulat Ram College to stay connected and to give back to the society through various activities.
Placement Cell Committee: Through the placement cell, the College makes students constantly aware of the changing trends/demands of the industry so as to equip them with the highest level of potential for cracking the tough selection procedures. Experts from within the industry regularly visit the college for talks, seminars and interactive sessions which immensely help job seekers in their preparations for the same.

Admission Process for UG Programmes:
The candidates have to visit the DU admissions portal and get themselves registered.
Once the registration is completed, they will get Id and Password.
In the next stage, they have to upload a passport size photo and class 12th and 10th certificate along with the signature and select the courses and colleges of their choice.
Candidates will be shortlisted based on the qualifying exam marks.
Marks obtained in the four subjects of the candidates' choice will be taken into consideration while preparing the cut-off.
As per the cutoff, candidates have to visit the allotted college along with the registration slip print out for document verification.
After the document verification, the college will approve the admission and will provide a link in the portal for payment.
Once the payment is done, the candidate's admission to the college will be confirmed.
Bhim Rao Ambedkar College, Delhi, offers facilities of library, health, canteen, auditorium, laboratory and Bank and ATM. The college also has the facility of gym, with modern machines.
Library: Library has a well-stocked collection which consists of a vast collection of volumes, which includes textbooks and reference books. It subscribes to many newspapers and magazines. It has computerised all its housekeeping activities using Library software. This enables users in searching and availing the library resources. It is a host of high-quality electronic databases subscribed by Delhi University Library System (DULS). The library provides access to e-resources which can be remotely accessed through the N-LIST Programme of INFLIBNET.
Health facility: WUS centre of Delhi University (East Campus) is situated inside the college residential complex to cater to the medical requirements of teachers, staff and students. The first-aid facility is available free of cost to the college. They can avail other medical facilities by accepting WUS membership.
Canteen: A full-fledged canteen is functioning within the campus for the convenience of the staff and students.
Auditorium: The fully air-conditioned multipurpose, mini-auditorium can accommodate an audience of 250 strength at a time with a sound reinforcement system and video conferencing facility. Projection facilities for films, slides, large screen videos and multimedia presentation are also available in the 250-seater hall.
Computer Laboratory: The Computer Laboratory of BRAC has provided extensive and contemporary facilities. Fitness and Gymnasium: The college has a gym facility. This is an open gym with 17 work-out machines. The facility ensures students mental and physical development. At the gym, they get an opportunity to de-stress and make them more health-conscious.
