Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Kolkata Campus was established in the year 1995 and is accredited by NAAC with Grade A. Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Kolkata Campus is a constituent college of Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra. It was the first in the country to establish a department dedicated to Space Engineering & Rocketry. The courses are offered in different branches of study such as Mathematics, Computer Science Engineering, Bio-Engineering and many more.
Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, Kolkata Campus also called BITS, Mesra, Kolkata Campus courses include BBA, BCA, Dual Degree, MBA, MCA, ME/MTech and PhD. BITS, Mesra, Kolkata Campus admission for MBA is based on CAT/XAT/CMAT/MAT scores, GATE scores for the ME/MTech programme and interview process for doctoral courses. Admissions for other UG and PG courses at BITS, Mesra, Kolkata Campus is given based on merit acquired in the qualifying examination.

Hello,
The general eligibility criteria for doing BCA is completing 10+2 from a recognised board with any stream ( commerce, science, arts) but mathematics/ computer science and English as compulsory subjects. But some colleges give admission in Bachelor's in Computer application without these subjects too.
