The BK Mody Government Pharmacy College in Rajkot in the year 1984. It is built on a campus of 8 acres of land in the state of Gujarat. This is the only government college for the area of pharmacy in the whole of Gujarat. The college is recognized by both the AICTE (All India Council for Technical Education) and the PCI (Pharmacy Council of India). Further, the BK Mody Government Pharmacy College is affiliated to the Gujarat Technical University (GTU). The pharmacy courses here are also accredited by the NBA (National Board of Accreditation). The college now has a respectable position within the family of pharmacy- based colleges across the country. Faculty coordinators are appointed to take care of the activities here and to arrange the relevant industry networking. Another equally important cell here is the Training and Placement Cell. There is a Training and Placement Officer (TPO) appointed to oversee the activities of this cell.
