BLDEA's New Arts and Commerce College, Tikota Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has a health centre with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has a Gym facility for the students.

The College Library is having good infrastructures like the proper reading arrangement, internet facility, and digital book entry. Working regular time of the Library is 07:30 Am to 03:30 Pm and in examination time morning 07:30 Am to 06:00 Pm. The requirement and list of books are taken from the concerned departments are involved in the process. The finalized list of required books is duly approved and signed by the Principal. Total books in the library are 37000. Out of that SC/ST-425,donated-1408, Indian journals-49, International journals-10, CD Ram-90, and Newspapers like Kannada-06, English-02, and Dictionary Gazette, Competitive books, Reference books, Old question papers are available in the library. The proper account of visitors (students and staff) on daily basis is maintained. The books are issued to students by the account of College-02, UGC-02 and for SC/ST-01 books, also those students secured more than 80% they have issued more books, Physically challenged students are issuing 01 book extra also for Practical students 01 books and teaching staff issuing 10 books on their account. To ensure the return of books, ‘no dues’ from the library is mandatory for students before appearing in the exam.

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college has a well-equipped Sports room. The sports department maintaining through the stock register of sports materials, Indent register, Issue register of sports materials, University sports calendar, University notification register, Sports achievement register, Gym maintenance register, Student attendance register Working Time: 06:30 Am to 08:00 AM and 08:30 AM to 03:30 PM

The college has an adequate number of computers with internet connections and the Utility software’s distributed in different locales like office, laboratories, library, Departments, etc. All the stakeholders have equal opportunity to use those facilities as per the rules and the policies of the institution. The central computer laboratory connected in LAN is open for the students as time permits them, the office computers which are also connected through the LAN is consisting of the office software making work easier and systematic are restricted their use only to the appointed office staff. The library is also provided a LAN facility for the computers and they are loaded with the library software. The departments and the staff can make use of the computer system with the internet at their seating places in addition that majority of the staff has their own laptops and the internet providing instruments, Computer Technician appointed for all those computer-related repairs

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College have Separate laboratories provided for all the Practical subjects, like Kannada, English, Computer Application, Geography, Agriculture Marketing. All practical's are conducted in the laboratories. Students will have to pay for the breakages and mishandling of costly and valuable equipment.

The college has a girl's hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. There is an independent hostel with 25 rooms for girl students.

The College has a bicycle/motor cycle parking stand for students and faculty.

The college has a Wi-Fi facility for the students and staff.

The college also facilitates the study through ICT-enabled 9 classrooms the new way of education. Besides it, networking and internet facilities are also available.

The college also provides extracurricular activities to encourage students.

The college also has a Training and Placement Cell. It supports the students by providing information about placement notifications from government and private agencies. It also organizes free coaching classes on competitive examinations.
