The Candidates ( Female ) should have passed the qualification of B.Sc. A nursing degree from the Dr.NTR University of Health Sciences or any other University accepted as equivalent there to should have registered with the Andhra Pradesh Nurses and Midwives Council..

B.Sc. Nursing graduates should have one year of experience in a teaching hospital or in a college or school of Nursing or in the community health nursing field after graduation and after RNRM Registration in the nursing council. The candidate ( Female )with P.B. B.Sc. nurses need not have one year of experience after graduation for admission to the M.Sc. Nursing, if they have one year of experience after the GNM course. They can be admitted to the M.Sc. Nursing soon after graduation in any branch of study;
