Brahmaputra Degree College, Lakhimpur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has limited and a single hostel building only for girls. The number of seats currently available in the girls’ hostel is 80. The application form for hostel admission may be collected from the office of the college and submitted to the concerned authority. The hostel superintendent in consultation with the college authority will finalize the list of candidates on the basis of merit. The hostel will remain closed during summer vacation and semester breaks. Those admitted to the hostel will have to abide by the college hostel rules.

The college library has a collection of about 3.100 ( three thousand one hundred) copies of textbooks and reference books, Furthermore, many useful journals, Magazines, and Newspapers are provided to the students. Every student will be issued two library cards against which he/she can borrow books one against each card.

The college Computer facilities including the Internet are available at a nominal rate and can be availed both by the teacher and students.

The college Games and Sports facilities are available in the college. There is a big open ground for practice sports near the campus of the college. A gym facility with the latest equipment for students and teachers is provided by the college.

The college has a Multipurpose Gymnasium with all kinds of gym facilities for students and staff. It is equipped with treadmills, exercise benches, weight training apparatus, etc.

The college has a canteen for providing refreshments to students at a subsidized rate within the college premise.

The college has one Xerox machine. The student can copy any kind of study material at a concessional rate.

The college has a department-based laboratory facility for the students.
