BVVS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital, situated in Bagalkot, Karnataka is a young college started in 2017 only. This affiliated college has been approved from The C.C.H, which means it follows the standard syllabus of homoeopathic courses throughout the country. Located at Raichur – Belagavi High way the college is providing only one course which is Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). The college offers direct student enrolment of 58 and has total faculty strength of 26 which ensure an intimate and comprehensive learning for homoeopathy.

In this regard, BVVS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital has numerous facilities that improving educational process of students. A fully stocked and up to date library containing books, national and international journals, the facility of On-line Public Access Catalogue has more than 3000 books. The special laboratories include an Anatomy Dissection Hall and Museum, separate Physiology and Biochemistry Laboratories, a Pharmacy Laboratory and Museum, a Pathological Laboratory, FMT museum, and a Computer repertory Laboratory. It means that these facilities give the students practical experiences that are very vital in their medical study. Extra curricular activity in the college includes sport amenities and gym. An auditorium is used in occasions and seminar, they are central to the life on campus. It also has the student welfare with the health centre to avail first aid facilities to the students.

The BVVS Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is a solely college, which provides only one course known as the Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery (BHMS). This is a full time course which takes six years for completion, to cater the student for a complete homoeopathic physician. This college had an intake of 60 seats for this programme and hence, more number of students can get a chance to join this field of homoeopathy. 

This college gives admission on the basis of the National Eligibility cum Admission Test (NEET) scores exclusively offered for homoeopathic medical education. This test is administered at the national level and is administered to any student who wishes to take the BHMS course. The college gives importance to the NEET scores since its admission procedure for the students to have adequate academic readiness for homoeopathic education.
