    Carmel College of Engineering and Technology, Alappuzha was established in 2014 and is an affiliated college situated at Punnapra, Kerala. This AICTE recognized college has four B.Tech programs which focus on the engineering disciplines. Located on a 109,860 sq ft compound, the college admits students with a total of 614 and provides a faculty of 55 members. Carmel College of Engineering and Technology strives to deliver technical education of a high quality to our students while emphasizing applicability of knowledge as well as students’ personality development.

    The college has numerous resourceful facilities to ensure that student’s needs are met in their academic and individual development. The library includes over 6000 documents in technical books and journals both in print and electronic form. It has advanced computers and peripherals linked to LAN in order to make information easily retrievable. The campus has boys and girls’ hostels with principled Catholic Priests and Nuns and where students experience discipline throughout along with comfort. It is equipped with a playground that would accommodate the passions of lovers of sports; especially football and carter, and it also has a volleyball court. The college also also has equipped laboratory for each department to enable the student gain practical experiences from their theoretical knowledge.

    Carmel College of Engineering and Technology provides four B.Tech programs out of which all are full time programs of four years duration. These courses covers Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering and Computer Science and Engineering. Both programs have an authorized enrollment capacity of 60 students giving a total of 240 student’s seating capacity for all the courses offered. These programs are specific educational units that aim at providing the students with the most recent information and skills that should enable them to succeed in this expanding technological sector.

    Our college has all the ultra modern technologies according with the current development. Almost all of our classrooms are modernized with latest smart board and also libraries are quipped with moden technologies. We have a separate block for library and it has almost all the books of Engineering

    The infrastructure of the college is excellent. The machine equipment of mechanical as well as other system is of world class standard. The library is equipped with more than 15 thousand books of engineering importance. The CS department holds a total of 3 labs with a set of mainframe system as well as a super computer. The hostel facilities for men and women are supervised under CMI fathers and CSN sisters.
