24 MonthsDiploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) is a two-year full-time diploma program offered by the State Council of Educational Research and Training, Chandigarh, and approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE).
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with at least 50% marks either in (+2 for ETT and Bachelor’s Degree for B.Ed. ) the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s degree or any other qualification declared equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program. Any candidate with 49.9% or fewer marks would not be eligible.
- The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/State Government, whichever is applicable. There shall be a relaxation of 5% marks in favour of SC/ST/OBC category candidates. Candidates with 44.9% marks or less would not be eligible.
Admission Details
Admission shall be on a merit basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and or in the entrance examination or any other selection process as per the policy of the State Government/UT administration.
