Chettinad College of Nursing, Kelambakkam, was set up in the year 2008 and is one of the constituent college of Tamil Nadu, India. Located on the IT expressway of Rajiv Gandhi Salai, this institution is co-educational, and is also approved by the INC, thus offering proper training to its students. Apart from conventional education, the Chettinad College of Nursing provides enough nursing courses to educate and meet the needs of the students. It offers nine programmes which include full time undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes. Undergraduate level, there are 100 seats in 4-year, B.Sc Nursing and 50 seats in 2-year Post Basic B.Sc Nursing programme. The specialty postgraduate programmes include six different M.Sc Nursing programmes, admitted 2 students each. These specialisations are Medical surgical Nursing, Obstetrics and gynecology Nursing, Neonatal and child Health Nursing, Mental health nursing Services, Community/Public health Nursing services and Medical surgical Nursing. In the academic area, what one can also find in the college are the Ph.D. programmes in Nursing which are taught full-time and part-time.
