Incorporated in the year 1998, Christian College of Engineering and Technology is one among the noted educational institutes located in Bhilai, Chhattisgarh. Christian College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Chhattisgarh Swami Vivekanand Technical University (CSVTU), Bhilai. CCET Bhilai caters to the various interests of students and industry demands through its exhaustive bouquet of engineering programmes. The college offers 16 courses, ranging from undergraduate, diploma, doctoral, and postgraduate programmes. At the undergraduate level, CCET offers BE in Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. For postgraduate studies, the college offers Master of Technology programmes in subjects like CAD CAM Robotics, nanotechnology and High Voltage Engineering. For doctoral degrees, the college provides PhDs in Applied Physics, Applied Mathematics, and Electronics and Telecommunications Engineering, and for diplomas, Electrical, Mechanical, and Computer science. The admission procedure of CCET Bhilai is transparent and fair enough. In the undergraduate programmes, 50% of the seats in all branches are filled under the Minority Quota (Christian) at the college level. While the Remaining 50% of the seats are filled through post-entrance exam counselling by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chhattisgarh. Particularly, this is for the domicile holders of Chhattisgarh who have appeared in the Chhattisgarh Pre Engineering Test (CG PET). Also, admission is based on the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) examination results.
