Boys Hostel
A separate hostel facility is available on the campus for boys All the basic facilities and peaceful ambiance are provided to the students in the hostel ensuring them a pleasant stay during their academic pursuit.

The College Library is enriched With an accommodation of over 50000 books and also has a good collection of journals (National and International) and magazines In this fast-growing world the library has its own CD library, which helps the students to refer beyond the hard copies. The seating capacity of the library is approximately 200 at a time. Students have separate library periods apart from the time they spend on reference. The Library is fully air-conditioned and has a perfect ambiance for students to study which helps them to prepare for their various exams. There is a special chamber where the teacher and the students can sit together for doubt clearance. Apart from being completely computerized, the library also has an e-library provided which helps the students to surf the net for various study materials.
Sports
The College has a well-equipped Gym apart from various playgrounds for Tennis, Badminton, Volleyball, Foot Ball, Hockey, and Cricket, and an Indoor Games Complex.
I.T Infrastructure
The college has a state-of-art fiber optics backbone that provides high-speed network connectivity to the Campus. Availability of high-end PC/Workstation.

The college has a Spacious canteen located close to the instruction zone and hostels.

Is Christian College of engineering and technology bhilai is good for placement? which should I choose bit raipur vs Christian College vs shri shankaracharya bhilai vs bit durg? please help me for selecting college?

Hello Swapnil,

Christian College of Engineering and Technology, Bhilai has not recorded very good placements during the past years. Placements are there for CS/IT branch students in companies such as Amazon, Capgemini, CMC, CMS Computers Ltd, Flextronics, HCL, HDFC Bank, Indian Army, Infinite, Persistent Ltd., Shriram Group , SYNTEL, TCS, Tech Mahindra and TEGA INDUSTRIES etc. The average package is around 1.3-1.8 LPA, which is not very good.

Talking about BIT Raipur, the placements are again not very good for branches other than CS/IT, average package is not very high( about 3.5 LPA).

BIT Durg has recorded average package of 3-6 LPA However, highest package offered is better here. It is almost equivalent in terms of facilities, also fees is higher than BIT Raipur.

Shri Shankaracharya Institute of Engineering & Technology, Bhilai has placements from companies such as Adani Group, Ashok Leyland, BirlaSoft , Capgemini, CMC, Genpact, HCL, Hexaware Technologies, ICICI Prudential, ICICI Securities, L&T Infotech, Mahindra and Mahindra, Renault Nissan, RetailOn ,Siemens, SONY, Synergy Group, TATA, Tech Mahindra, UltraTech Cement, Unisys India, XL Dynamics, Yahoo etc. The average package is around 3.2 LPA . So placement is good for CS/IT.

BIT Durg has an overall better reputation among the other colleges and thus gives a comparatively better placement than SSTC. The chances of you getting placed is way better in BIT Durg. Rest other factors are almost the same in both.
