General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) is a three-year full-time diploma program offered by the Tamil Nadu Dr MGR Medical University, Chennai, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).


Eligibility Criteria

  • Only female candidates are eligible to apply
  • The minimum educational requirements shall be the passing of Higher Secondary school certificate examination (10+2), with minimum 45 percent marks.
  • Admission is subjected to the satisfactory medical examination report.
  • A Candidate should have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission. Maximum age limit up to 35 years
