The Affiliated College of Applied Science, Malampuzha, started in 2008, is an affiliated college situated in Palakkad, Kerala. This institution provides a narrow specialisation of undergraduate programmes in the areas of computer science and electronics, and commerce. FForB.Sc Computer Science and B.Sc Electronics, the intake is 32, and for B.Com Computer Applications, it is 50. This is possible in other research areas because it enables a more focused approach in each area of discipline under study.
It can be seen that the College of Applied Science, Malampuzha, follows a marks distribution plan where students are admitted based on a percentage obtained in optional subjects in the higher secondary examination. This way, the students who know the prerequisite subjects will be selected for each programme. The results of the B.Sc Computer Science and B.Sc Electronics take course XII science stream marks into account, while the B.Com Computer Applications takes into account marks in commerce subjects offered in the XII standard.
