      The College of Applied Science at Malampuzha is an affiliated institution in the district of Palakkad, Kerala. College of Applied Science offers specialised undergraduate programmes in computer science, electronics, and commerce. The College of Applied Science admission process attempts to ensure that bright candidates are selected to fill the three full-time degree courses of study, B.Sc Computer Science, B.Sc Electronics, and B.Com Computer Application.

      College of Applied Science admissions are based on the marks scored by the candidates in the higher secondary examinations for the optional subjects. This ensures that students selected for each programme at the College of Applied Science have an excellent foundation in the prerequisite subjects required in the pertinent year. A few examples would be B.Sc Computer Science and B.Sc Electronics. 

      Normally, any one of the following would be considered minimum eligibility criteria: 10+2 or a corresponding examination from a recognised school. For B.Sc, the students must have read science subjects at the higher secondary level. A B.Com student is preferred to have a commerce background.       College of Applied Science Application Process

      • The college announces the commencement of the admission process through its official website and local newspapers.
      • Candidates are supposed to obtain and fill out the application form. This is usually made available online on the college's website, or it may also be obtained in person at the office of college.
      • Candidates are required to pay the specified application fee. The acceptance mode and amount shall be mentioned in the application form.
      • Based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examinations (12th), the college will release a merit list for each programme.
      • Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling, where the seats will be allotted according to their merit and preferences.
      • Selected candidates have to pay the course fee and fulfil the remaining admission requirements the confirm their seat.
      • Once the admission process is over, the new academic session starts as per the college calendar.

      College of Applied Science B.Sc Admission Process

      College of Applied Science admission to the B.Sc Computer Science programme is based on the marks obtained in the XII science stream. The College of Applied Science has an approved intake of 24 students for this programme. Candidates with a strong background in mathematics and computer science at the higher secondary level are preferred.

      College of Applied Science B.Sc Admission Process

      College of Applied Science admission to B.Sc Electronics is based on the marks obtained in the XII science stream. The College of Applied Science approved intake for this programme is 24 students. Physics and mathematics are helpful for students aspiring for this course.

      College of Applied Science B.Com Admission Process

      This course is for students who have studied commerce in their higher secondary education and have an interest in computer applications. The approved intake for B.Com Computer Applications is 30 students. College of Applied Science admission considers the marks obtained in commerce subjects in the XII standard are considered for this programme.
