practical, radiology training, demanding yet rewarding.

      College Infrastructure

The radiology department has a practical working environment with facilities, reporting rooms and regular hospital cases. The set up is useful for learning all the equipment, availability, maintenance and workload defer across units and shifts.

      Academics

The course Offers exposure to routine radiographs, ultrasound CT and other imaging based investigation, learning happens to reporting case discussion and guidance from seniors. Students who revise regularly and participate actively can build a good diagnostic foundation.

      Placements

there is no fixed campus placement process for radiodiagnosis. After completing the course students generally explore Senior residency, government hospitals, corporate hospitals, and academic roles. Practical reporting experience is useful when applying for the opportunities.

      Value for Money

for student seeking postgraduate training in radio diagnosis at the government institution, the course can be financially worthwhile. The main benefits are clinical exposure access to cases and comparatively reasonable fees to the overall experience depends on facilities and personal involvement.

      Campus Life

campus life is mostly centred around department duties, Emergency work reporting schedules and academic activities. There is Limited free time, but hostel interaction and friendships with residence from different facilities, the postgraduate journey more comfortable and memorable.

      Others

PGT radio diagnosis requires patience concentration and consistent practice because the learning curve is deep. The department provides exposure to real Hospital work but students need to take initiative. Ask questions and study independently. The workload can be tiring, especially during busy posting. Yet the experience helps develop confidence in interpreting cases and understanding clinical requirements

demanding MD Pathology training with practical exposure.

      College Infrastructure

during my MD Pathology training, I found the basic infrastructure useful for academic and diagnostic work. The department had laboratories, microscopes, teaching rooms and hospital facilities. Some equipment and maintenance could be improved, but the set up supported routine learning.

      Academics

the academics experience was practical and closely connected with daily diagnostic work. We handled histopathology cytology, hematology and biopsy related cases under faculty guidance. Workload was sometimes demanding, but it helped me more become confident in reporting and clinical discussions.

      Placements

there is no typical corporate placement system after MD Pathology. The course may prepare student for senior residency, government vacancies , Private hospitals, diagnostic laboratories, and teaching positions. The hospital workload in case exposure were helpful for building a strong foundation.

      Value for Money

for a government medical College, the course Offers reasonable value for money. The fees are comparatively manageable. While student receive post graduation training, regular case, exposure and access to a functioning hospital set up. The experience depends greatly on the department and individual effort.

      Campus Life

campus live during MD was more work oriented like thing than recreational. Most days were spent in the department laboratory and Khadam sessions, even so interactions with residence from different departments, hostel, life and occasional campus activities made the experience very memorable for me.

      Others

MD Pathology here is suitable for students who are ready for consistent work and responsibility. The course gives exposure to a broad range of specimens and routine cases. All the facilities and workload may not always feel uniform . faculty Support self study and regular practice make a major difference. My experience was demanding but genuinely useful for developing diagnostic understanding and professional confidence.

affordable practical academically, strong medical College.

      College Infrastructure

The infrastructure is quite good overall with spacious classroom well, equipped labs and large Library hostels playgrounds and hospital facilities. Some hostel and hospital areas may need better, cleanliness and maintenance, but overall it’s great.

      Academics

academics are one of the strongest past of this college. The faculty is good classes are very regular and clinical teaching is supported by attached hospital. Students get good exposure through practical demonstration and patient interaction.

      Placements

medical colleges usually do not offer traditional campus placements. However, students complete a compulsory one year internship in the attached hospital where they gain practical experience and medicine, surgery, orthopaedics, and other departments.

      Value for Money

The college Offers good value for money because it is a government medical College with comparatively very affordable fees. Students receive quality education Hospital, exposure and internship opportunities without paying the high fees charged by private colleges in other places.

      Campus Life

campus life is fairly enjoyable and suitable for medical students. The large campus Library sports area and student interactions create a decent environment. Life can be busy because of classes, posting practical and duties. Otherwise, it’s very nice.

      Others

Overall, NSCBMC Jabalpur is a good option for students who want affordable medical education and strong clinical exposure that attached Hospital provides regular patient interaction which helps student improve their practical knowledge and confidence. The college may not have a luxurious private college, atmosphere and hostel cleanliness or food can sometime be improved, but academic environment and hospital experience are valuable.

Ac and cooler are not working most of the time though they are provided projector is not working . Buildings are not well designed ,management is really poor condition of hostels is even worst there is water shortage living conditions there are really bad

      Academics

Teachers are really great and qualified they are very supportive and helpfull they support us in various cases . The exam procedure is really great and up to the mark and syllabus is taught accordingly

      Placements

As i am doing mbbs placement is not my target right now but they provide a very good opportunity for placements and the teaching pattern is also according to the pg enterance examination overally great placement opportunities

      Value for Money

As it is a government medical college return of investment is great and also there are options of various scholarship for students who cannot afford the fee and i m also doing my mbbs with medhavi chatra and it gives me a 100% scholarship for college fee

      Campus Life

In MBBS you cannot expect a really great college life because there is a very toxic environment for juniors and ragging is also very common here although seniors ar e helpfull in some situations but overall it is really toxic

      Others

As it is a government medical college you cannot choose your college your rank decides everything

      College Infrastructure

Infrastructure of classrooms are quite attractive with speakers arranged in each class. But in hostel there is a lack of hygiene in toilets same is the case with hospital building. Labs are well maintained with nearly all medical equipments except few. There is a big library with almost 9000 books and large sitting area within library. Now coming towards food, many students prefer to take tiffin from outside as the quality of food in hostel is very low. There is a canteen with few selected items.

      Academics

I am pursuing mbbs here, since it is government college you can't rely completely on teachers.Offcourse they are well experienced but you will not get everything in point.Curriculum is well updated and yes you learn many things in these 5.5 years specially during one year internship.Since it is mbbs so don't have to panic for job you will easily get job after graduation with a high payscale.Quality of teaching remains almost same in all medical colleges things that differentiate them is facility.

      Placements

Since in medical colleges talking about placements is irrelevant as this is yhe only only stream/degree that guarantee the job right after graduation. If you work in private hospital then your salary varies between 4.5 to 6 lakh per annum for freshers in government sector it is quite lesser starts from 35 thousand per month. The best option is to crack the postgraduate exam and you will get around 60 thousand per month while studying as an internship which is quite attractive amount..

      Value for Money

Fees for normal candidate is about 1.10 lakhs per year but most of the students get scholarship like medhavi, sc, st scholarship etc so after applying scholarship fees comes to around 20 thousand per year. But if you take medhavi scholarship you have to fill the bond for working in rural area after completing gradution. It is purely worth of money because students get everything here ,all types of activities got arrange. Seniors and teachers are also helpful.

      Campus Life

For first year students initially life is tough here not only in this medical college but in every medical college as there is ragging. Yes, you heard it right. Ragging is still present in medical colleges and no one dares to go against it even college administration are involved indirectly in it.But after some times those seniors will prove very fruitful to you, they will help you during exams not only in exams but in every problem they will stand for you after some time you will be one of them.

      Others

I took admission here in 2019, initial 2 months were very hard as i was new here and ragging which really use to affect me but i become usual of it within few days, maybe that is the motto of it. Because medical field requires too much patience. After that welcome party was organised by college administration for all 1st year batch. Now after 1 more month it was the time for gearing up for fresher, a most awaited event for a new medico, fresher was memorable, fun filled, it was the beginning.
