The Combined PG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, Dehradun was established in the year 2002. Today, it has come out to be one of the premier health education hubs in Uttarakhand, India. This affiliated college is probably the only recognized institute under the Indian Nursing Council, offering a variety of medical, allied health science, and other programs. The Institute spreads over an extensive area of 4 acres and has come up to be a very significant center for the entire region. This institute has a strength of 22 faculty members who provide quality education in 19 courses at the Undergraduate and Postgraduate levels through its 8 degree programs, across various specializations within the health sector.
To supplement its academic mission, the college is aided by a number of state-of-the-art facilities. It has well-equipped laboratories for students to engage in practical learning experiences that are a must in medical training. The campus has separate accommodation for boys and girls, thereby allowing outstation students to stay comfortably on the campus premise.
