      Contai D.Ed. College, Contai, has its current position as one of the best institutions for teacher education in the state of West Bengal. The two most prominent programmes of the college are Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) and Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed). The Contai D. Ed. College admission procedure is merit-based and is found according to the state government's policies and the affiliated university's regulations.       Contai D. Ed. College D.El.Ed Admission Process

      The Diploma in Elementary Education is a two-year full-time course with an annual intake of 50 students. Admission to D.El.Ed is similar to that of B.Ed. The Contai D. Ed. College admission process is based on merit, as determined by the qualifying examination marks. The college follows the admission policies of the state government and the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). The eligibility criteria are usually 10+2 or equivalent from a recognised board.
