24 MonthsPost Basic B.Sc Nursing is a two-year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the nursing course offered by Baba Farid University of Health Sciences, Faridkot, and approved by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
Eligibility Criteria
- The candidate should pass the higher secondary or senior secondary intermediate or 10+2 or an equivalent examination recognized by the university.
- Obtained a certificate in General Nursing Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M. with the state nurse’s registration council. A male nurse, trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a nurse with the state nurses registration council, shall produce evidence of training approved by the Indian Nursing Council for a similar duration instead of midwifery in any one of the following areas:
- O.T. Technique/ Ophthalmic Nursing/ Leprosy Nursing/ TB Nursing/ Psychiatric Nursing/Neurological and Neuro Surgical Nursing/Community Health Nursing/Cancer Nursing/ Orthopedic Nursing
- The candidate shall be medically fit.
Admission Details
The selection of the candidate should be based on the merit of the entrance examination held by BFUHS or College or as per Punjab govt. notification or by the competent authority.
