24 MonthsBachelor of Education (B.Ed) is a two-year full-time undergraduate course approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offered by Panjab University, Chandigarh.
Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates with at least 50% marks either in bachelor’s and /or master’s degree or any other qualification declared equivalent thereto, are eligible for admission to the program.
- A candidate who has been awarded a B.Sc. pass degree on the basis of a B.Sc. (Hons. School) examination of the university shall be deemed to have passed with 50% marks in the aggregate.
- For a candidate who passed an additional subject/s subsequent to obtaining a B.A/ B.Sc. degree, 50% marks in the aggregate shall be calculated by taking into account the marks obtained in the compulsory subject/s and three elective subjects or additional elective subjects.
Admission Details
Admission in B.Ed. The course is done on the basis of merit of the qualifying degree i.e. B.A./B.Sc/B.Sc (Hons.)/B.Com. etc. The admission process is conducted online by one of the Panjab University/Punjabi University/G.N.D University, as per NCTE, P.U., and Punjab Govt. rules. The reservation policy is followed as per the rules.
