Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed: Admission to the 200 seats of DAV College of Education for Women is based on merit. Admission to the B.Ed program is based on a merit basis and directions of the state government. Candidates for the B.Ed must hold at least a bachelor's degree from a recognized university.

M.Ed: The M.Ed program has a capacity of 50 students. The University conducts the counselling for admissions. Candidates must have a B.Ed degree or equivalent qualification from a recognized University. The selection may be based on performance during counselling along with an assessment of academic standing.

D.El.Ed Self Financed: In D.El.Ed program 50 candidates are accepted. Candidate merit shall be determined on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination. Selection will follow guidelines provided by the State Government/UT administration and university policy.

PGDCA Self Finance: The Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications (PGDCA) has an intake of 40 seats. Selection is done directly through an interview, conducted at the college. Candidates are eligible to apply typically with a bachelor's in any discipline from a recognized university.
