Deccan School of Pharmacy popularly known as DSOP is a pharmacy college that was founded in the year 1997 at Hyderabad, Telangana. This affiliated college has specialised in pharmaceutical education and training and currently offers number of courses recognised by PCI and AICTE. Consequently, having a student enrolment of 661 and a faculty capacity of 34, DSOP effective in nurturing students who aspire to be pharmacists. The institute has five programs across three programs and it has specialisation in different aspects of Pharmacy education.

The Deccan School of Pharmacy has many amenities that are intending to facilitate the students of the school. Modern laboratories have been established within the college to ensure that the present students emulate phantom practices in their learning process. Academically, Deccan School of Pharmacy offers its complete course recommendation of the degree, diploma, and certificate programmes for the different levels of pharmaceutical studies. There are five full time courses offered in the institute, both at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. These include B.Pharma programme that starts the groundwork to the pharmaceutical sciences and M.Pharma specialisations in Pharmaceutics and Pharmaceutical Analysis. The institute also has the Pharm.D programme which is a Doctor of Pharmacy, which takes six years and the Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate for those who hold B.Pharm qualification.

The admissions for the Pharm.D programme are through the Telangana State Engineering Agricultural Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET) normally conducted in April/ May every year. Admission is granted purely on merit depending on the scores of this entrance exam and on the percentage in the intermediate (10+2). This comprehensive evaluation ensures that only students with the right background in science together with good aptitude in pharmacy get selected into the programme.
