DMS IIT Delhi: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi's Department of Management Studies (DMS) was founded in 1997. DMS IIT Delhi ranks 4th in the NIRF ranking. The institute provides a total of four management-related courses. Executive M.B.A. Technology Management, M.B.A. and M.B.A. in Telecommunication Systems Management, and Ph.D. in Management are among the courses offered by the Department of Management Studies at the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi.

DMS IIT Delhi is a co-educational government college. The institute has a wide range of infrastructure facilities for the students which include 5 air-conditioned lecture theatres with LCD projectors, an auditorium, a library, a mess, sports and many more facilities. To look after the facilities at DMS IIT, a candidate will be elected as the head. The specific head will be elected by the students. An elected student body with a housing secretary, mess secretary, sports secretary and various secretaries will be elected for various functions along with the club representatives running the hostel functions.

DMS provided postgraduation and doctoral level programmes which include Executive Technology management M.B.A, M.B.A Telecommunications Systems Management, M.B.A, Ph.D Management. DMS IIT Delhi Admission

DMS offers two levels of programmes that are postgraduation and doctoral courses. To get admission at DMS IIT Delhi, the candidates should meet the eligibility criteria. The eligible candidates can apply for further process. The candidate will be shortlisted on the basis of the scores secured in the national examination. While for some courses the candidate has to appear for the WAT followed by an interview conducted by the institute. The final shortlisted candidates have to appear at DMS IIT Delhi for document verification and need to pay the course fees.

The institute committee plays an important role in providing placements to students. This placement committee acts as a bridge between a recruiter and the student. The placement committee organises the placement activities like guest lectures, seminars, webinars, conferences, presentations and many more. Top recruiters like Amazon, Accenture, Cognizant and many other companies will participate in the placement programme. The highest salary package offered to students is Rs. 36.7 LPA. DMS IIT Delhi Facilities

The DMS IIT Delhi is having excellent facilities like 5 fully air-conditioned wifi enabled lecture theatres equipped with LCD projectors, an auditorium with a seating capacity of 150, a central library with a wide range of collection of books, magazines, journals and many more. There are 13 student hostels at DMS IIT named after the mountain ranges of which 11 are boys' hostels and 2 are girls' hostels. The DMS IIT facilities include a mess facility, wifi/internet accessibility, a gym, and sports facilities like indoor and outdoor games. There will be a trained warden-in-charge for every hostel.
