It was a great moment for me when I got shortlisted for DMS, IIT Delhi. This b-school offers you the chance to be an IITian and explore all the facilities that IIT provides. DMS itself has an excellent faculty base with a great student to faculty ratio. Th faculties are felicitated for their outstanding teaching at international levels. All the faculties have industry experience and they are even part of government advisory bodies. Coming up to the curriculum, DMS offers a flexible curriculum, wherein students can choose the electives as per their convenience. The kind of industry exposure provided is great. There are year round guest lectures and conclaves. DMS students are very competitive and they have shown their mettle at different b-school competitions. Life at DMS is very happening. You have so many cultural and technical fests to attend. One can make use of all the SAC facilities - swimming pool, basketball court, badminton and what not. There are so many clubs to be part of and things go from music to finance rigours. DMS is a place to grow and to learn.

As far as learning and resource infrastructure is considered, it's great. Only the hostels need to be improved. After already paid the first term payment for IIM Nagpur and started my course study, suddenly one day I received a message from DOMS IIT Delhi stating that I finally converted. After consultation from some of my friends I at last decided to make the move and came to Delhi to pursue my MBA from IIT Delhi. The infrastructure at IIT Delhi is nothing short of a dream come true. The college has a lot of recreational activity rooms and a big swimming pool too. WI-FI is free across campus and one can avail the facility of using common rooms at any time. For corporate exposure, the biggest step being taken by institute is in terms of Alumni meet every week. This has resulted in huge help for students especially fresher’s to get a good look at corporate world and how to manage things in the business world. Also regular guest lectures are arranged. Very recently people from GE and book my show came to the campus. The institute also brings in lots of live projects to prepare students well. As for enjoyment, students take full liberty in using recreational activities for overall growth. Every now and then there is introduced a small competition in some sport to keep the students engaged. As far as the hostel is concern, they are well built and all the necessary equipment that a student requires are provided with. The rooms are fully ac and the canteen is of world class. The academics at IIT Delhi is of prime focus. Most of the lecturers at IIT Delhi are either well known book writers or lecturers. The Diversity at IIT Delhi Is also very good. There are about 30% girls and as far as work –ex is concerned, some students have work-ex of 6-7 years. IIT Delhi is a perfect example of work hard enjoys harder kind of college. The fee is quite less and some of the most important journals that are not available in most of the b-schools are made available to us absolutely free of cost.

The total fees are 4 lacs for the 2-year full-time program. The hostel fees are included in the course fees. The mess charges are around sixteen thousand per semester and the food quality is above average. There are various food joints inside the campus too to satisfy the taste buds. Placement Wing 10/10 The placement at DMS, IIT Delhi is one of the best in the country. The kind of profiles and roles offered to the students are the most coveted ones. The number of companies visiting the campus is plenty across the domains of Consulting, Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, Strategy etc. The institute boasts of 100% placements year after year. For the year 2014-2016, 30% of the batch got PPO/PPI. The average CTC (top 25%) was a little above 19 lpa. Hostel Facilities 10 The hostel rooms are neat and clean. Students are allotted rooms on a first come first serve basis. The lucky ones get a single room of their own and most of the students have to share their room with another student. Campus Life 10 Campus life is the high point of the institute. The gender diversity is not so great. With every year it keeps on improving, though. There are multiple grounds, basketball courts, tennis courts, indoor sports facility for the students. Also, every hostel has their own indoor sports facility. Lot of competitions keep happening around the year College Events IIT Delhi is place where events keep happening round the year. At the department level we have the annual conclaves called Op'Era (Operations), Confluence (Marketing & Finance), Horizon (HR), Strategia (IT & Consulting). Then we have Parivartan - the annual cultural cum business festival of DMS, IIT Delhi. The footfall for Parivartan 2015 was close to 5000. Also, there is an annual business summit called Building India Inc. which is the flagship event of our department where we invite the eminent leaders from all walks of life. People like Sam Pitroda, Vineet Nayar, Rajat Sharma, Jawhar Sircar have graced the BII. At the central level we have the famous Rendezvous, Literati, SpicMacay, Esperenza etc. These festivals are organised at a grand scale and participants from across the country visit the campus.
