The infrastructure at University is not so modern but good. The university has all the required facilities such as Wi-Fi, well-designed classrooms, and libraries with a reasonable amount of academic literature. However, overall, the campus is less modernized and well-equipped compared to what else you might get elsewhere.
The professors are well-read, experienced, and highly cooperative in guiding the students in the topic. They also try consciously to fill the gap between practical and theoretical study. One of the assets is that the professors plan industry visits from time to time, which provide exposure to actual practice and help the students to learn industry ways.
The placement percentage of B.Com students is normally between 20% to 30%. Though the university does its best to arrange placements, the placements are usually not very good compared to other institutions. The students are mostly supposed to secure placements based on their own merits in interviews instead of through university placement assistance.
Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak has a pretty decent infrastructure that meets all industry standards. The campus has all the facilities like a sports ground, auditorium, computer lab, and library, which are quite useful for students. The washrooms are kept neat, clean and hygienic, and the water quality in coolers was also maintained well. Overall, the campus was well maintained and clean.
I have completed my bachelors in commerce from Directorate of distance learning , Maharishi Dayanand University, Rohtak and it was a good experience. The teachers here are highly experienced in their fields, and they were always supportive and friendly. While some parts of the curriculum feel a bit old-fashioned, it does a good job of including recent developments, keeping us connected to what’s happening in the industry today.
The placement of Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak is pretty decent. The placement cell of the institution is very nice, cooperative and supportive with the student. The average package offered here is around 4-5 LPA which is average not so great and not so bad. The highest package offered here is around 9 LPA +. The students who have proficiency in their skills, have confidence and good English communications skills get chances to get a higher package.
I am learning from distance so I do not have more ideas about infra but yes as I hear that infra is good. The university is great for the distance learners. It provides all the facilities to the students. Every staff member is great and helpful. The alumni students are not that much in touch. However, I am having a great learning.
The curriculum is very detailed and helps the students to learn better. Apart from this, it does not create any pressure on the students. I can work as well focus on my studies well. Exams and tests are held at regular intervals.
There are no placement opportunities for the distance learners. This is quite a disadvantage for the students like me. But the teachers are highly motivating and keep the stunts aware of the job opportunities outside in the real world
Good college for distance learning
Maharshi Dayanand University, ab initio established as Rohtak University, Rohtak, came into existence by an Act No. 25 of 1975 of the Haryana Legislative Assembly in 1976 with the objective to promote inter-disciplinary higher education and research in the fields of environmental, ecological and life sciences
Major strength of the Department of Commerce is its strong team of learned and experienced teachers, well equipped with teaching learning skills, having vibrant experience in Research & Development. The faculty is always ready and imparting the students the curriculum, research, analytical and other personality development programmes , helping them in attaining goals and jobs in various fields.
The placements are not really good. But the fees is just 10000 so i think you won't get that productive output in such fees. When you are giving such less amount you won't get 10 times far more ROI. So, if you are just looking for job after degree i won't prefer you this option.
If you just want a degree then I would prefer you this university.
The campus is really not that much good.
