24 MonthsDiploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma) is a two-year full-time diploma course offered by West Bengal State Council of Technical Education, Kolkata and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
1. Students of science stream have passed ‘10+2’ examination with Physics and Chemistry along with any one of Mathematics / Biotechnology / Biology / Computer Science / Computer Application as combinational subjects, with individual pass marks (in both theory and practical wherever applicable) in all the three subjects as stated above in regular class mode.
2. Must have obtained at least 50% marks (45% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category e.g. SC, ST, OBC-A, OBC-B) in the above three subjects taken together.
The Board of the said Qualifying Examination must be recognized by the Central Government or State Government concerned.
To get admission, candidates must satisfy the minimum marks criteria, which is 50% marks (in PCM/B subjects). Most institutes follow the merit-based admission process, where deserving candidates are allotted seats based on the marks scored by them in board examination.
