Dnyanshree Institute of Engineering and Technology, Satara is a private engineering institute established in 2012 under the Raosaheb Wangde Master Charitable Trust (RWMCT). DIET Satara offers diplomas and degree programmes (B.Tech)in various engineering fields.  DIET diploma programmes are affiliated with the Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education, Mumbai (MSBTE) whereas Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University, Lonere, Maharashtra affiliate DIET degree programmes. Admission into the DIET B.Tech courses is provided based on performance in HSC (Higher Secondary School Certificate) or equivalent exams and scores obtained in  MHT-CET and JEE Main.

DIET Satara is approved by both the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Delhi and the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Maharashtra. It also has the recognition of the Government of Maharashtra. Training & Placement Quality Circle supervises the DIET placement process and provides training on soft, technical and interview skills.  DIET facilities include departmental libraries, workshops, medical facilities, modern ICT infrastructure food courts and sports facilities. The DIET fee structure for degree programmes and diploma courses is around  Rs 3.52 L and Rs 1.95 L respectively.
