Doom Dooma College, Tinsukia Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College has an excellent computerized library with numerous textbooks, the latest reference books, a good number of journals and periodicals of state-level, national, and international status. The library has well-furnished, spacious reading rooms for students as well as for faculty members. E-Books and E-Journals can be accessed through the INFLIBNETN-LIST program.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students. Science Laboratory: The College has its own very well-equipped, two-storied science laboratory for conducting Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology practicals. Psychological Laboratory in Education Department:  The College has a separate Psychological laboratory with sophisticated equipment that provides facilities for laboratory works in Psychology and Education. Language Laboratory: The language laboratory plays an important role in the language learning process. To improve the communication skills of our students a sophisticated computerized Language Laboratory has been set up.

The College has a well-planned playground within the campus for holding football matches, athletic events, cricket, and other outdoor sports and tournaments.

The College has recently set up a 10-station multi-gym for both Students and Teachers. Students can gain admission to the Fitness Hub by paying Rs. 100/- as registration fees (non-refundable) and Rs. 50/- per month as maintenance fees to the sports committee, Doomdooma College.

The College has a spacious auditorium named Kallol with sufficient space, lighting arrangement, and a well-equipped dais.

The College has a well-furnished canteen which provides healthy refreshments to the students as well as to the teaching and non-teaching staff during college hours at reasonable rates.

The College has Alumni who function for the all-around development of the institution. It has contributed significantly to the beautification of the College campus.

The college has a boys’ hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Two Boys' Hostel: Capacity-84 ( 44 + 40) students.

The college has a girls' hostel facility which provides good hostel accommodation for the students. Two Girls' Hostels: Capacity-54 (40+ 14) students.

The college has a health center with a first aid facility for the students.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

The college has In addition to the Network Resource Center, the College has a well-equipped, Hi-tech computer laboratory to enhance the computer skills of our students. It has 40 computers with all the modern facilities.

The college has an Internet browsing facility available for students and faculty members during college hours at the Network Resource Centre.
