Dr. Abhin Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital is one of the oldest established Homeopathic college in Odisha, India situated at Bhubaneswar in the year 1969. Situated in Bhubaneswar, it is affiliated college which has been approved by the Central Council of Homeopathy (CCH). The institute situated over a campus of 7 acres has 6 courses under two degree programmes with an annual student enrolment of 280. With a view to having a quality health service education especially in the homeopathic medicine the college employs a faculty strength of 21 members. 

Dr. Abhin Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital has developed various infrastructural facilities in line with its responsibilities in offering education. Central library with well equipped having a stock of more than 8000 books include national & international medical journals & Periodicals to enhance the knowledge of students & staff. It also include a, fifty-seat reading room for students and another room for the teachers. Otherwise, the institution has confirmed its focus on promoting technology to have a computer laboratory offering postgraduate students and academic staff members, the availability of the internet 24/7. The college is still in the process of computerising their IPDs and OPDs making it clear on how the college is trying to revolutionise healthcare services. In this regard, the campus has well furnished hostel accommodation for both male and female students, such that students enjoy their stay at the university. The facility of first aid centre, departmental laboratories, Auditorium for conducting events/seminars and games/sports facilities add on the value campus life.

The Dr. Abhin Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital believes in offering its students full time education, and the College offers a total of six courses. These include BHMS a 3rd year undergraduate and five Masters level courses in homeopathy and its various specialities MD level. Overall approved intake of all the courses is seventy nine covers while BHMS course has the largest number of students approved to be taken, sixty three students.

The course offered at Dr. Abhin Chandra Homoeopathic Medical College and Hospital requires that the admission process be a little bit competitive based on the course offered. For the postgraduate coursework, admissions are mainly done according to the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET). The candidates are selected for the MD (Hom.) courses on the basis of the merit list of the entrance examination held in English language.
