B.Ed at Dr Ambedkar College of Education, Kasaragod Offline Course

Candidates should have passed the B.A/B.Sc Degree examination under the 10+2+3 pattern with one main subject and two subsidiary subjects from any of the universities in Kerala or any University recognized by any of the Universities in Kerala as equivalent thereto for admission subject to the stipulation regarding marks. However double or triple main candidates of Kerala University and other Universities will be considered for admission only if they furnish copies of the eligibility certificate from any of the Universities in Kerala along with the application, stating that their qualifying examination is recognized for seeking admission to B.Ed Degree Course a particular optional subject. The applicant should be qualified in all respects as at the time of application.

• a) The minimum marks for B.Ed admission is 50% for the Science Subjects and 45% for the Arts Subjects in Part III.

• b) A minimum of 50% marks for part 1 English of B.A7 B.Sc degree examination for English optional. They should also possess a Master's Degree in English with not less than 50% marks.
• c) Applicants should have secured 45% marks in aggregate (1+II+III) Note: Admission based on (b) above is only when candidates with qualifications under (a) are not available for English
• d) Scheduled Caste/Scheduled Tribe candidates with a pass minimum for part III and the part I English part II language and with an aggregate of 35% marks are eligible for admission.
• e) Socially and Educationally Backward Community (SEBC) Candidates will be given a 2% concession for part III / part I English.
• f) OEC candidates should possess the minimum marks prescribed for candidates for SEBC candidates.
• g) Proof of Nativity in Kerala is required
• h) Candidates should be physically fit and mentally sound. Deaf/Dumb candidates are not eligible. Blind candidates will be eligible for admission to optional other than science.
• i) There is no age limit for admission.
