An applicant who has completed higher secondary, intermediate or equivalent course from a recognized university in India or abroad from a senior secondary board or equivalent, constituted or recognized by the Union or by a State Government or from any equivalent institution from overseas recognized by the Government of that country certifying successful completion of the course, may apply for and be admitted into the B.A., LL.B 5-Year Integrated Degree Course.
Applicants who have obtained the Higher Secondary Pass Certificate through distance or correspondence methods shall also be considered eligible for admission. Those qualifying through the Open University system directly without basic qualification for the law course are not eligible for admission.
Minimum marks in the qualifying examination for admission:
As prescribed by the Bar Council of India, the minimum percentage of marks must not below 45% of the total marks for applicants from the general category; and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants, has to be obtained in the qualifying examination such as 10+2 or intermediate examinations for applying for the admissions of the integrated B.A., LL.B., degree course. Marks of 44.5% or more shall be rounded off and treated as 45%.
