Dr. L. H. Hiranandani College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2004. It is an affiliated college of University of Mumbai, which is one of the premier institutes in pharmaceutical education. Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: DLHHCOP has a 4-year B.Pharma program with 100 seats. Admissions are based on guidelines set by the University of Mumbai. Candidates who have completed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics are eligible to apply. The total fee for the B.Pharma program is around Rs. 560,004.
M.Pharma: Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Pharmacology, and Quality Assurance are the four disciplines in which M.Pharma is offered by the college. Each specialization has 15 seats, thus totaling 60 seats for M.Pharma. Admissions are through GPAT scores mainly. The eligible candidates are required to possess a B.Pharma degree from a recognized university. The duration of the M.Pharma program is 2 years, and the total fee would be around Rs. 172,366.
Ph.D. in Pharmaceutics: The Ph.D. program in Pharmaceutics offered by DLHHCOP has a total of 6 seats. The admission is granted on the basis of a common entrance test (PET) conducted by the university, followed by a personal interview for shortlisted candidates. The college infrastructure I would recommend is average but the laboratory is one of the best and they have good library and classrooms for all the students and there is canteen which is common between 2 colleges
The college has all the labs with proper facilities, machines, and the raw materials for practicals. It also has projectors in all the classrooms. The benches are comfortable and new displays are installed in various areas.
