An applicant who has passed HSSLC or Equivalent (10 + 2 Examination) from any School / College / Institution recognized by the Assam State School Education Board (ASSEB) or the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) with at least 45% marks in aggregate. Relaxations up to 5% of total marks in respect of SC/ST candidates and up to 3% in case of OBC/MOBC candidates are allowed as per norms of the Bar Council of India. However, the applicants who have obtained 10 + 2 Certificate through open school system directly without having any basic qualifications for prosecuting such studies are not eligible for admission in this programme. Moreover, the minimum qualifying marks as mentioned above shall not automatically entitle a person to get admission into the College, unless the candidate fulfills other institutional criteria notified by the College at the time of admission.
