Bachelor of Legislative Law (LLB) is a three-year full-time programme in Law offered by Dibrugarh University, Dibrugarh with the approval of Bar Council of India (BCI).
Admission to the LL.B course is based on merit at the qualifying examination.
Admission to LL.B 1st semester class is open to the candidates who have a bachelor degree from the Dibrugarh University, or any other university, institution, recognized by the Dibrugarh University to be equivalent, with at least 45% marks in major or aggregate. Relaxations up to 5% of total marks in respect of SC/ST candidates and up to 3% in case of OBC/MOBC candidates are allowed as per norms of the Bar Council of India.
Age limit for admission
As per supreme court order, vide dated, March 3, which puts a stay on Bar Council of India Rules on age bar policy, any candidate, otherwise eligible can now fill the application form irrespective their maximum age.
