Dr. Shivanand Nautiyal Government PG College, established in 1979, is located in Karanprayag. Affiliated with Devtoli, Karanprayag, Garhwal, Uttarakhand, it is a governmental college that covers an area of 7.306 acres. The college provides BA and MA courses at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels, respectively, along with other courses. A total number of 1,759 students are enrolled in this college, and 43 faculty members teach the students under each subject.
The whole range of facilities is in place in the college to make the learning experience enhanced. All the reference books on subjects, textbooks both at the undergraduate and postgraduate level, and book banks are available in the library. Regarding experimental learning, the college has ensured departmental laboratories that would inculcate practical experience in relevant subjects. There is also an auditorium, which is used to conduct events and seminars in order to have a healthy academic culture on campus.
