Excel College of Pharmacy, Namakkal Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Central Library has collections of books, national and international journals, internet facilities, audiovisual aids, CDs, and media related to research in our primary subject specialties, including pharmacy practice, pharmacology, pharmaceutical analysis, medicinal chemistry, pharmacognosy, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical sciences. Apart from the central library, department libraries are also available with minimum books related to the respective field of specialization. General help with library use is provided by student assistants at the service desk. Materials placed on reserve at the request of a faculty member must be used in the Library. A photocopier and scanner are available in the Library.

There are 13 laboratories available with appropriate equipment and apparatuses where all students in a practice course can carry out the same experiment simultaneously. Shimadzu Double Beam UV Visible Spectrophotometers, ATR FTIR, Spectrofluorimeter (SFL), HPLC Analytical, HPP, CHP, Gas Chromatography, RPM, Tablet Coating Machine, Kalweka Multispurious Equipment, Brookfield's Viscometer, Brookfield's RPV, Disintegration and Dissolution Test Apartment is also available teaching and research activities.

The computer lab with unlimited internet access with 50Mbps bandwidth provides students with information on online tools for education and co-curriculum needs. In addition, all departments are completely equipped with computers, printers, and the Internet. Separate computer and Internet facilities are offered in each PG laboratory.

Excel Institutions provide very good hostel facilities for students away from home for their education. In Excel, the hostel has a good infrastructure for both boys and students to stay comfortably. In the hostel, various activities and facilities are provided efficiently. Excel Hostel provides single, two, and multiple-member rooms.s.

A centrally located indoor stadium is being built to provide facilities for all indoor games such as table tennis, badminton, carom, and chess. The campus has also been facilitated by an extensive outdoor area for cricket, volleyball, and football.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has provided students and staff with a medical facility within the campus.  MOU has been signed with Sudha Hospital, which is located 20 km away from the college, where immediate care will be provided for any emergency situation. Many of the specialty hospitals are very nearby and within easy reach.

The college has guest house/waiting room facilities for visiting faculty and student family members.

For the benefit of Students and Faculty members, Excel Institutions buses are being operated from nearby places like Sankari, Salem, Omalur, Mettur, Tiruchengode, Erode, Arachaloor, Anthiyur, Thindal, Bhavani, Chennimalai, Edappadi, and Komarapalayam. Transport is provided at a convenient time to reach the campus.

The college canteens remain clean and tidy, and offer a selection of hygienic snacks, breakfast, and lunch at a reasonable rate during college hours.
